Studio Sunday (no. 24)

Hi friends. We’re halfway through summer break and I am so productive (it’s an art). We’re really in a groove now. I want to schedule one more little trip before school starts, but for the most part I just want to make ice cream and watch movies with the girls.

Marigold and I made homemade ice cream for the first time with the Kitchenaid attachment and I am stocked how easy it was. I had no idea. We’re definitely going to keep trying new flavors for the rest of the season. So fun! (if it’s your first time try one of Emma’s recipes)

2. Painted House Tour

My mom sent me this artist house tour and it’s such a dream project. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

I’m restocking my sea serum and this pillow mist I spray before bed every night. The scent instantly puts my brain into a sleepy mood.

I got this lighter cover for mother’s day and it brings me joy every day. I know it’s silly, but beautiful things can do that. I keep it next to our kitchen candle.

If you are have a wall painting project in your future I highly recommend getting samples from Samplize. They are big stickers in the exact paint color. You can use them in your home to check the color, but I also keep the small stickers inside my planner as a way to remember all the colors and double check the colors when they are getting mixed at the paint store.

I’m thinking about using these floor pops tiles in my closet. Has anyone used them? I’m curious how tricky they are to install.

We started watching Freaks and Geeks (it’s my first time) and it’s so cute.

I love this as a little gift, maybe housewarming or a new job.

I’m working on a set of nesting dolls (with the help of my kids). I’ll be sure to share the finished result when we’re done. All I want to do is craft recently.
