I’m Elsie Larson. I’m an aspiring novelist obsessed with learning. I’m a third-generation painter who tries to send messages to my late grandmother (she always writes back). I’m a mother to two perfect daughters who love to paint and make crafts with me. My husband is a classical pianist and a songwriter. I live, with my family and two chaotic pugs, in a historic home in the small Missouri town where I was born. I was once addicted to moving, but now I’ve never felt more at home surrounded by family, art and books.
I’ve been a public figure in one way or another since I was twenty-two years old with a career so wild and strange, it doesn’t seem real, even to me. Currently, I’m building a second act career and pouring my passion for curiosity and the lost arts into this newsletter.
If you’re a fellow creative, welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
