Yesterday we hosted an Easter brunch and egg hunt. This season I’m extremely career focused, but I also want to work on making everyday life full of small joys.
1. Book Club (with Movies!)
I shared on Instagram that my book club is embarking on my DREAM, which is a book and movie challenge where you read the book separately and then watch the movie together. Here is the link to the Book Club Homemade Punch Card that you can customize or print. I hope you join in. It’s bringing me so much joy!
2. Button Decor
I just saw Emma Chamberlain’s West Elm collection and the button wall art is my absolute favorite (trying to find a place in my home for it). I also love the button coasters and the button side table. Love!
3. New Paintings
These are the new paintings of mine that will be available at Liz Lidgett Gallery later this month. I used one of my very first moth paintings (see below) for inspiration to make a high contrast collection.
4. TBR
On my current TBR are a bunch of books that my newsletter readers recommended (let me know if you’ve read any of these!). The White Octopus Hotel, Exit Zero and Cozy: The Art of Arranging Yourself in the World.
My very first moth painting from 2023.
5. Keep Going
”You cannot control how much work it takes to finish a project. It could be a hundred hours or it could be five minutes. The amount of time it takes is irrelevant.” -Rick Rubin
6. Stationery
I ordered some note cards from The Printery this week. Feeling inspired to work on my stationery collection and write more letters.
7. Brass Tags
I love these custom brass tags. Makes me want to label everything!
8. After Yang
Last night we watched the movie After Yang and it was SO beautiful. I am obsessed with robot movies and this one was on the more quiet side and gave me a lot to think about.
9. Tulip Lego Set
Just got these for our 8 year old to put together.
Easter brunch in our kitchen.
10. Podcast
Our newest episode is How to Make a Vision Board and 5 Year Plan. New episodes drop every Monday!
